Uh huh...

Apparently I never started this thing. That or I deleted older entries quite some time ago....So this will probably be a long update!

We've had so much happen in the last few months! Ian came home on March 9th, (YAY!), we moved to Hill AFB in Utah in the middle of March, Ian went to and graduated from ALS a few weeks ago, and we found out that we're pregnant!

We're so excited. Rosalynn is going to be an amazing big sister. We're due on January 20th, so we have quite some time until we get to the finish line, but we're both very much looking forward to it! I have to take Lovenox to regulate my blood clotting during the pregnancy but we're very optimistic that this will happen for us this time! We have another appointment on May 26th so we can see our little one for the first time. We're praying we know that God's got our back and we'll have our new little bundle of joy with us come January! I just can't wait until July 8th! That day, if our little one cooperates, we'll get to see if we're having a Jackson Andrew or an Abigail Grace!

Rosalynn is doing amazing. She starts dance and cheer in a few weeks and is super excited about it. She cannot wait! Everyday she wakes up and asks me if we're going to ballet or if we're going to do cartwheels haha. She's had a few playdates here in Utah and is doing well. She cries and yells, "I need my friends!", when we have to leave. It's sad, but a little cute as well :)

We're all so proud of Ian! He's doing such a great job. He was put in for what we thought was just your everyday Achievement Medal while he was in Korea, but it turns out that they gave him a Commendation Medal! Basically, as Ian put it, it's an upspoken rule that NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers) and up only receive the Commendation Medal for doing amazing work in their job. He's only a Senior Airman, so it's a real honor. Last week he graduated ALS, Airman Leadership School. Basically it's training Airmen to be NCOs and letting them know the tasks that they will be expected to perform. We're waiting to see exactly when he'll sew on SSgt. Any day now the numbers will come out and we'll get to find out if he's being promoted next month or in July! I think they're purposely holding out on the numbers to torture Ian :) It's been a very long year for him since he tested and found out the results.

I've been doing great as well. I feel like I've poofed out already and I look like I'm 5 months pregnant and I'm barely 5 weeks! I've been working very hard on my Tastefully Simple business and have been successful thus far! I just got a text from Ian asking me to make him a yummy dessert haha, so I think it's safe to say that Ian's happy with my business venture too :)

We're so happy with where we live! We chose a beautiful and safe base. The area surrounding the base is just beyond gorgeous. To see the snow-capped mountains everyday is a blessing. A LOT better then horrible Las Vegas and it's ugly desert! Ian hated it there growing up, so one would think we wouldn't have chosen to live there again haha. We've definitely found where we want to be right now! Who would've thought that it'd have been Utah! I wish we could go back to California, but this is a great second choice! We have an older house on base, but we love it. We don't have to worry about anything inside the home because they'll be tearing it down, so we can paint and decorate as we please :)

I hope everyone is doing well! Hugs to everyone!
